Phoenix, AZ – March 2, 2006: Officially
today, PACLAND, a leading civil engineering and development consulting services
firm, opened its sixth office, this one in the Phoenix/Scottsdale market. Based
in Seattle, with additional offices in Bellevue and Olympia, WA; Portland,
OR; and Sacramento, CA, PACLAND services the commercial (retail, office, industrial,
and transportation) and residential markets. PACLAND opened the Phoenix office
to support their existing clients who are securing raw land for future master
planned community development. Mike Jackson, an engineer with more than 12
years of direct experience, will manage the office. PACLAND’s steady
growth as a company is a direct result of their customer service
model and continued repeat business. As PACLAND’s clients have grown,
so has PACLAND.

Mike Jackson, recently hired to lead PACLAND’s Phoenix office. “Our
office will focus on Las Vegas, Tucson, and Phoenix-region developments. This

and commercial development) in the Western United States. It goes without saying
that we are here to meet the development consulting services needs head-on.

The Phoenix office will primarily operate as an owner’s representative
on multiple projects and manage the development consulting teams through the
entitlement, design and permitting process. Additional services offered out
of the Phoenix office include: site planning, site design, landscape architecture,
transportation engineering, permit processing and construction management.
PACLAND expects the Phoenix office to expand in size and grow to upwards of
eight employees within 12 months opening, which is similar to how PACLAND’s
five other offices expanded in their first year of operation.
